I was at the YMCA today, burning off 551 calories and ellipticaling my way to 5 miles, when I noticed on CNN that Detroit is, not only shutting down half of the schools in the city, but that some of these schools will have classes with sixty students.

After six weeks in Malaysia and 36 hour stint in airports and airplanes getting back, I decided to relax by driving four hours to Sandusky, Ohio for the 21st annual Cedar Point trip. My dog is staring at me. It's in the low 90s here today so I haven't been too interested in taking her out. We've gone up and down the block a few times which adds up to a little over a mile but she keeps going to the door and I keep trying to let her out (we stick her leash in the door so that she can't get away) and then she refuses to move.
